Rest day in Strasbourg, Alcase, France

May 29th and 30th

The two nights we spent in Strasbourg were just what the doctor ordered. We had a great hotel in the city centre just steps from the touristy area called La Petite France. For 77 euro per night it was excellent value. We caught up on laundry, rest, watching tennis on tv and some fine dining, and of course we wandered around the historic streets. We love this city, having visited it previously in 2019. The cathedral  was no less stunning second time around.

Strasbourg cathedral - stunning. Gothic style, built from sandstone.
We sat and ate crepes and drank coffee with this view.
